We are happy to inform you that the house in which Swami Vivekananda stayed for the first 3 days in October 1892 (Bhate’s house) has been gifted to the Ramakrishna Mission. Swami Raghaveshanandaji inaugurated the pathological laboratory and also a study room for students at Ramakrishna Seva Mandal, Satara, Maharashtra on 12/01/2007 the National Youth Day. Apart from the worshipful Mayor of Satara, many dignitaries and a large number of devotees and well-wishers attended the program. Swamiji also gave a brief talk on the occasion recounting the history of service activites of Ramakrishna Mission and the spirit behind its service activites.
