How to keep my mind fresh all the day?
By rkmissionashrama on Sep 3, 2007 in Miscellaneous, Spiritual FAQs
You are not mind. Mind is an instrument in your hand. Separate the mind from you and watch it constantly; then it will be fresh. Another easy way is to chant the name of the Lord, even while working.

Dear Swamiji,
How to seperate ourselves from our mind consciously? When emotions rush to us, we involve, immerse deeply. Later we realize how it affected and how we victimized by these stream of emotions. What could be the mechanism to hold and watch that emotion when its gushing so that we gain control over that. Emotions are day to day affairs damage us physically and psycologically. The damage could be huge. Would you please give us practical step by step approach to handle this emotion with care?
A bit of my background: I am diksha devotee of Thakur. Do regular practice of pranayama, japa and a bit of meditation in my own way.
I try to be simple, honest, practical and understanding most of the times.
But when emotions come I loose control. Need your advice on this Swamiji.
Thanks and Warm Regards,
